The interdependence of human and nature have always been central to Pearl C. Hsiung’s painting, installation and video work. More recently, attention to the artificial has become forefronted in Hsiung’s meditation on human/nature interconnectedness to expand her focus into ideas surrounding a nature/human/artificial interface.
